Regional Library Services (WOHKN): About RLS

Meet your Librarian

Ryan Verbey-Verutis

Welcome to the Regional Library Service (RLS) website!

I joined Woodstock Hospital in February 2021, replacing Bailey Urso and Devin New as the health sciences librarian, and I am excited to support Woodstock Hospital and the RLS partners!

I completed my Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree at Western University in 2018, and since then I have worked in the library at a variety of different organizations, including the University of Guelph and Maple Leaf Educational Systems. In addition to conducting and publishing my own research in the social sciences, I have experience with reference services and instruction. I am eager to build on the excellent ideas that Bailey and Devin brought to the library and continue to find new and innovative ways to support you and your work.

I am usually in the Health Library at Woodstock Hospital Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., but I also make visits to other sites. You can always contact me at or Feel free to say hello or chat with me about how the library can support you and your work. I look forward to getting to know you!
