The Regional Library Service (RLS) provides high quality information resources and services for evidence-based decision making at each of its participating health organizations. Guided by the strategic initiatives of each participating health organization as well as professional library standards, the RLS supports patient care, education and research needs.
That decision-makers (clinicians, researchers, administrators, staff, and consumers) at RLS participation health organizations will have accurate and timely information, where and when they need it, and in the format they find most useful.
Access: to provide access information in all forms and for all persons.
Service: to provide the best quality service possible, at all times, to all users.
Stewardship: to make the most efficient use of resources.
The Regional Library Service serves staff at Woodstock Hospital, Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance, Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Four Counties Health Services (Newbury), Peterborough Regional Health Centre, St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, Norfolk General Hospital (Simcoe), West Haldimand General Hospital (Hagersville) Regional Support Associates (RSA), and the Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre (SOAHAC).
